Dale Broach, PPR Certified Professional

Dale Broach’s sports background started in high school where he earned “all state” honors in three sports and was named to All-American teams in two (baseball & football).  He played baseball in college earning a 2nd team All American award in 1983. After college he played minor league baseball for a few years. He also found time to coach AAU girls softball and the “skilled” position players for the Concord-Carlisle High School football team for a few years.

Dale was introduced to and taught pickleball by local Cape Ann professional, Kelly Caniff. He immediately fell in love with, not only with the sport, but the social and welcoming environment surrounding pickleball. Dale began playing pickleball around the country. In his travels, and like many across the country, Dale became captivated by the sport of pickleball.

Dale has earned the highest certification level, “professional” and has medaled/won in 20 + pickleball tournaments. Including “gold” medals at the 4.0 4.5 & 5.0 levels. Most recently he has played as a professional on the AARP Masters Tour. Dale also became the first pickleball teaching professional at Lifetime Fitness in Burlington, Massachusetts. He currently instructs locally during the summer and continues to be a teaching pro at both Lifetime locations in Burlington & Peabody in the winter
